Meeting Boris today at launch of 9 point plan for Greater London

It was very interesting to meet Boris Johnson today at the Welcome Collection conference center in Euston Road for the launch of the '9 point plan for Greater London'

Even though Boris had a very pressing schedule diary he took time out for a photo call with me as candidate for the upcoming by-election in Camden Town with Primrose Hill on 3rd May. He hopes that he will be able to visit the voters there later in the campaign. Especially as I happen to be School Governor of his old Primary!

This is going to be a high tech campaign!

DC!

Great quote from Cllr Thomas Neumark on his Labour website "I love living in the Camden Town and Primrose Hill area and can’t think of anywhere I would like to live more." Apart from Washington DC it seems!

Actually, a rather thoughtful person, with a passion for US style bagels! We worked along side each other for the past two years on the Housing and Adult Social Scrutiny Committee and we got to know each other well enough to have mutual respect. Certainly we did not agree on all issues, but he has common sense. I am sure he has a bright political career ahead of him.

To be fair to Tom he clearly was unable to know that he's family would move to the USA.
But notwithstanding this. The election is now called and indeed I have a part to play in it as I have been selected by the Conservative party as the local candidate.

I have lived in and around this area most of my life and Primrose Hill is is a wonderful place to be. The vibrancy of Primrose village and Camden Town and especially the canal water front area around the locks is very kaleidoscopic indeed!
