CTPH D-3 Near miss!

Whilst talking to opposition Labour candidate Lazzaro Pietragnoli, with Liberal Democrat Ed Fordham walking on the opposite of Fitzroy Road part of the roofing had fallen only minutes before. It could have wiped out two thirds of the Camden Town with Primrose Hill by-election candidates and ex failed PPC LibDeb candidate for H&K at a stroke.

But we are safe. Having shaken hands with the Labour candidate and we went on our respective ways humbled by the experience.

CTPH D-15 A Safer Camden

Met members of a local Police team out on the traditional beat on the streets of Camden Town yesterday evening. I introduced myself in my role as vice chair of a local Safer Neighbourhood Team Police panel. I feel very reassured of the great effort that the police are taking in continuing to build the community bond and using foot patrols, sometimes traditional ways are the best.

I remember Camden Town from my youth more than 40 years ago and Camden of today presents a very vibrant arrival point for the myriad of visitors and tourist pouring in each and every day.

I do much of my local shopping here and love the buzz!

Once all the road works are completed, it is hoped that road pedestrian crossing will be safer and easier than before.

CTPH D-27 Community Safety

Safety is so uppermost in all our minds these days and we have so much to thank for the wonderful job that the local Safer Neighbourhood Team Police does. This office here in the heart of Camden Town is a beacon for a safer community.

As an active member and Vice Chair of a local SNT Police panel since 2009, I know just how vital these services are.
